Talk about generous! You are so generous with your blog posts and all the resources you offer. I LOVE your blog. I already told you how I feel about it aesthetically, but the concise information is handy too! You are such an inspiration!

Jenn is the kind of person I want to be around, whether it is folding paper, loving handmade type , telling deep secrets or eating sliced apples. I am SO happy to have become a part of the circle she rolls in. We are definitely from the same tribe. So glad we have yet another circle to be part of together! xoxo.

Days 22-29

Better late then never! I'm posting about my final week of the challenge from last month...

  • Day 22: Gave some tough feedback to someone. Even though it was difficult and uncomfortable, I knew I needed to do it. And, in the end, the conversation turned out to be a gift. The person and I had reached a better understanding of each other. It always amazes me how taking a risk like that can really shift things in a powerful and positive way.

Days 15-21

I've been so behind with posting about my 29-day giving challenge. There's been lots of stuff going on - mostly good and some bad/frustrating. I noticed that after getting in my little car accident on lucky number Day 13, I was feeling a little stuck with the giving. I think that I'm in a better place now and I believe being committed to keep on giving even in the smallest of ways that has helped me mov… Continue

Day 14 - Resources

After my more intense day of giving yesterday, today, I found a simple and easy way to give. Again it was an exercise in expanding beyond material and monetary gifts. I met a fellow photographer friend of Brian's and we all had brunch together. She just moved to the Bay Area and is rebuilding her business so when we got back to our place, I offered her lots of suggestions for books and resources: The Enlightened Entrepreneur, Attracting Perfect Customers, POP! Stand Out In Any Crowd and Refuse t… Continue

Day 13 - Crash Course in Giving

While driving into the city on Saturday, I was thinking about the giving challenge and how most of what I've given so far has been material and monetary. I thought it would be cool to consciously give from an energetic perspective without having to exchange something physical.

Well, as I was on Howard Street heading to the parking lot, I got rear ended.

When I got out of the car, I saw that not only was there the car that hit me, but that she had been hit from behind, too. Fortunately no one w… Continue

Day 12 - Flowers for a friend

Today I picked some lovely cala lilies from my garden. They are one of my favorite flowers. I placed them in a vase and tied them raffia and drove them over to my friend Laura's place. I left them on her front porch along with an inspirational book. She's juggling a lot latel… Continue
