Why I'm choosing to give:
I give everyday but I'd like to share, it is a good idea to have a discipline to remind yourself what you do everyday.
What I'd most like to receive:
News from my bone scan on my spine on Friday that the steel rod in my back is not making the de-generation of my spine worse but is actually helping it to stay strong. That arthritis is just a name and that I will continue to be able to function normally and enjoy walking in nature.
How did you hear about the 29-Day Giving Challenge?
I met Cami at the San Francisco writers conference
About me:
I now live in beautiful Victoria BC with the love of my life and husband Greg and puppy Cortez. I've been a nomad for the last 10 years of my life since leaving the UK and spent 7 years backpacking and sailing the world on a shoe string to discover my passion and purpose in life. I discovered a passion for writing and self-published my first book "A seven year journey around the world - discovering my passion and purpose" This led to me designing a workbook and workshop program to inspire other people to write books and this is now my purpose in life to inspire others to write that book inside them! I love the work I do and I make it affordable so everyone has the opportunity to attend one of my workshops, writing retreats or teleseminars. I want to inspire 1,000's of writers to share their passions and lessons with other people.

Day one and two

Yesterday was day two and I gave a free half hour session to my private student who is writing a book on family support for care givers of chronic illnesses. She has been caring for her husband who has advanced MS and she wants to spread the news and support other caregivers through the lessons she has learned. I told her about 29 gifts and I know she would love to connect with Cami.

Day one gift came back to me when an overdue payment I've been chasing was paid yesterday.

Day three I intend to post a book to my daughter in law and some fresh ground organic fair trade coffee to my dear volunteer friend in Cambodia, she can not buy good coffee in Cambodia and she loves coffee!

Those that give and give....

I have not been entering my daily blog of giving because I feel anything I do is so insignificant compared to the giving my friend Lee does in Cambodia. I give to her everyday by sending positive energy and love and support for what she does over there to help poor women, children and victims of illegal land grabs. She has been living there for 2 years supported only with her credit cards that have now maxed out. I understand when she says to me how can you turn down a child who could die of den… Continue

What a beautiful day today!

I am amazed I achieved so much today! A really beautiful day here on Vancouver Island, I am so blessed to live the life I live! I spoke to this author today who was amazed and surprised when I told him I lived in an RV. I get that often. I've been a nomad for 10 years and I don't need much of the "stuff" people are entwined in and I am very fortunate that I can share my 29 foot space with the love of my life and puppy Cortez. What more would someone desire in life? The love of their life, living… Continue

Hi sweet sister! I miss you terribly, and your love and support is the gas the keeps me going. I ALWAYS feel your hand in mine, especially when I face obstacles. Despite the bank seizing my accounts, I can't help but keep giving, even financially. What is happening is that our friends in Dey Krahorm community and my partners have pooled our resources so that we can all share and keep each person afloat. Dey Krahorm feeds me and lets me be late on my moto rentals, I help them with medical and court expenses, Kir helps Ruth pay for the dentist, and we all make sure Borey's salary is paid. The giving is catching on! Now Director of LICADHO paying next month's rent, and another organisation offering to pay Borey. I kept my mind positive and my eyes on the bigger pictures to deal with my financial crisis. But as always with cause and effect, magic is happening as a result. The person I want to share this with the most is you. I can't wait until we are hand in hand picking sea glass again, sharing our journeys and discussing magic. xoxox

"A friend is a hand that is always holding yours, no matter how close or far apart you may be." I'm sure Lee knows how much you care.

I sent out the invitation to 696 people and had some very interesting responses, it sorts out people with some major problems that I would like to help and some people I know are always there to help others. A very interesting day.

Thanks and you would not believe some of the nasty mails I get as a result of having this attitude..but like you say..I have an audience right now and if I end up losing that whole audience by spreading good news ...so be it...I still believe those people who send those nasty messages are still affected by the message so I let it role off my back like water. This whole spam thing prevents real messages of love getting through sometimes..but not to the people that really care like you...so 2 out of 696 I'm happy with!! Spread the news! Thanks for your love to the world.
