Days 15, 16, and 17

Day 14 Joe and I went to a party at a friends house for Labor day. We brought a couple six packs of beer and a bottle of wine. That was the gift for the day.Day 15 was yesterday I bought some cups with twisty straws for the boys and they loved them. Day 16 today I am making a cake for Joe to bring to work to share with his boys. We have had the most perfect weather this weekend. The nights are getting a bit cooler and it is so nice for sleeping. Day 9

I feel as if I am really on a role now. Today my gift was to my mother. I went over to her house to visit and show her the link to my daughter on TV last night because she hadn't seen it yet.While I was there I noticed that her guest room bed wasn't made up so I decided to do it for her. She lives in a beautiful house on the Atlantic ocean and has quite a few house guests. days 3, 4, 5, and 6 of 29

I have been pretty busy. I started a new job on Monday. I haven't worked full time since before my 24 year old daughter was born so there was a bit of adjusting to do!But I love it! I even love taking the 15 minute bus ride on days when I have to do that. Day 2 of 29

Today my gift was of my time. This is my first year volunteering for the Salem Jazz and Soul Festival. My brother is one of the founders and this is the 6th year it has been going on. The story goes that one New Years Eve my brother and a friend were discussing how Salem doesn't really have to much live, outdoor, free music happening. So they decided to do something about it. Day 1 of 29

I hadn't planned on starting today. I thought I would start in.the feat day I got paid. I start a brand new job on Monday and until then I am pretty much flat broke. When I walked out the front door this morning at 5:45 to pick Woe uo at work our landlady called to me from the upstairs window. She had a stroke a few years ago and can no longer drive. getting started or letting things perculate

I picked up the book at the library in the section market "new non-fiction. At the last minute I threw it in one of the bags I was packing to go away for a few days. I read it cover to cover on the first day.I knew before was half way finishes reading that I was going to do the challenge. I haven't quite set a start /end date. Today I joined a gym! After working at a gym for the past 12 years and then being out of work for the past 6 months I was feeling so sluggish!
