And Day Four Went Well!

Hi, all!  Thanks for all of your comments!  I enjoy hearing from all of you:)  Yesterday, I clipped a cartoon from our paper about babies feeling it's their responsibility to get parents up in the morning and sent it to my son and daughter-in-law, as they are expecting a girl on Dec 7!  yeah!  I think they will get a kick out of it!  I called my "best-est" friend from high school and talked with her through some good times and some not-so-good times that she is going through.  We had a nice…See More

Day Three was a quiet day of giving.

Hello, all! Yesterday, I gave via check to a local school classroom.  Our Cape Cod Paper asks for a one-time donation so that they can provide News Education to the classroom without cost to the school.  Sounds like an excellent program, with civic education, Women's History Celebrations, Reading-Writing-Communicating projects.  I loved it and felt it a good way to give back to my community. That was it!  Except, of course, that I took the pup for a walk.  Gosh, does he love that:)  He's so…See More

October 3rd means Day One!

Walking the Dog is a Give and Take!

Ron, my dog, loves to snoop.  When I take him for a walk, it really means taking him for a "snoop."  His snout is a magnet for smells and bees.  He can't stay away from either of them.  My gift to him, and myself, yesterday was to simply let him snoop!  We walked down to the Canal and watched the boats - well, I did.  You KNOW what he was doing!  It was a slow, lazy walk.  Just what we both needed. I hope all is well with you, my friends.  Lots of hugs to you all, Katherine PS  As far as my…See More

Hello, all!
