Read your post about the time you took to make a phone call to someone ... that's always a meaningful give .. and often we receive from doing it too.

- I feel like happiness has eluded me for some time now. I am not sure why. I am trying to give out positive energy to the universe by helping others in an effort to hopefully feel better about my contribution in this world.

You have been telling the people in your life that this is the Eleventh Hour.
Now you must go back and tell the people that this is the Hour.
And there are things to be considered:
Where are you living?
What are you doing?
What are your relationships?
Are you in right relation?
Where is your water?
Know your garden.
It is time to speak your Truth.
Create your community
Be good to each other.
And do not look outside yourself for the leader.
This could be a good time!
There is a river flowing now very fast.
It is so great and swift that there are those who will be afraid.
They will try to hold on to the shore.
They will feel they are being torn apart, and they will suffer greatly.
Know the river has its destination.
The elders say we must let go of the shore, pursh off into the middle of the river,
keep our eyes open, and our heads above the water.
See who is in there with you and celebrate!
At this time in history, we are to take nothing personally, least of all ourselves.
For the moment that we do, our spiritual growth and journey comes to a halt.
The time of the lone wolf is over. Gather yourselves!
Banish the word struggle from your attitude and vocabulary.
All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration.
We are the ones we've been waiting for.
Now you must go back and tell the people that this is the Hour.

Flowers were a success!
Well, I couldn't wait for Mother's Day to hand out the flowers, so we did it on Saturday instead. I explained to Johnny exactly what he would be doing and why, and he jumped on board right away. We stood in front of Kohl's for about 45 minutes handing out flowers and talking with people. Day 11 - Still going strong
Thank you all for your reponses and comments to my blog. I know I've said it before, but this truly is a great environment and a wonderful way to make new friends across the world. I look forward to logging in each time I do.
So, let's see. I didn't hear back from God's Love we Deliver, so I am feeling like I should something more. There is a local charity here in Long Island called Island Harvest, today I will go try to volunteer time for my son and me and see if we get a response.

Day 8
Today I took a rainy day and tried to make the best of it....I spent time at Trader Joe's buying some of the items I needed to start cooking healthier which was a gift to myself and my son. I came home and experimented with some new recipes. I also decided that instead of donating money to God's Love Delivers, I would donate my time instead. Day 7
I have been out of touch, but not shirking my responsibility! It was my birthday weekend, and I received all kinds of gifts big and small (tangible and non tangible) that touched me immensly. My proof that doing this brings good karma is that I won the latest raffle for the hot heart. I never win anything....truly. Raffles, door prizes, you name it...my name never comes up. Day 3
Today I decided to donate some money to the 29 Day Giving Challenge in an effort to help with the ongoing costs to run the website. I am so grateful that this has come into my life, and I am having so much fun each day with the challenge. Today I received an early birthday present from my son. A coffee mug with pictures of him all over it ranging from the time he was a baby. It was the greatest gift. His dad made it for him to give me of course, I was very touched by the gesture and the gift.
