- Why I'm choosing to give:
- I want to truly let go of trying to control certain things in my life that I simply can't, to find myself again, to be able to develop connections with my brothers and sisters I haven't met yet in the world to help them feel more at home & at peace, and to develop a deeper faith with my loving God.
- What I'd most like to receive:
- I'm not exactly looking for any gifts from others, but I'm not saying I won't accept them because that is part of the process of this challenge, but I would like to receive beautiful smiles, happiness, and kind words from strangers or loved ones all from my giving.

- I heard all about this wonderful challenge in Cami's book that I read for school over the summer.
- About me:
- I'm really into capturing every moment of my life on camera so that I won't forget a thing. I enjoy strawberry smoothies, peanut butter, honey mustard for dipping, spaghetti, & fruit a lot. I write with my left hand. I love to paint, read, chat with lovely people and run in my spare time. I would like to label myself a feel spirit due to just trying to live life to the fullest as best I can and go wherever my wings may take me.

Day 4: Fancy Faces

Today, my gift was volunteering through my organization, National Charity League, to help out CASA to face paint little kid's faces at our mall. National Charity League is an organization where your mom and you help volunteer your time to help those in need. It can range from serving food at the sweet dreams shelter(women and children shelter) to stuffing & folding envelopes for CASA. Yesterday, the first cotillion dance was last night. This dance really snuck up on us due to being so close to the beginning of the new school year. So my friends & I had no clue what to wear! After our national charity league meeting, we went to the mall and went straight to finding animal print tights/shirts. The theme was welcome to the jungle. Our first stop was at Forever 21 which is really one of the main stores that has all kinds of crazy clothing girls here love.

This week I started back up with the new school year of finally being an upperclassmen and it truly has been one of the hardest weeks I feel like I've experienced in a while.
