Today is my first official Giving day because today I am near the computer and I could do the joining process. Yesterday was my first actual day because it felt right to start. I bought breakfast for a young man who is joining the Marines. He looked much too young to be making that decision. I pray for his safety and his success as a Marine. Yesterday was an easy give. I am eager to see what today brings.

- Why I'm choosing to give:
- I have read Cami's book and an article written about her and the 29-Day Giving Challenge. I have always felt it is important to share what we have been blessed with but in the hectic and trying times of life that is very easily put in the back. The Challenge will place giving in the front every day!
- What I'd most like to receive:
- I want to feel joy and peace. I want to see the smile a small gift can bring out.
- How did you hear about the 29-Day Giving Challenge?
- I read an article and bought Cami's book.
- About me:
- I am a caring, loving, sometimes moody, sometimes nervous, often tired and generally well rounded person (mentally and physically). I am a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend who is looking for my purpose in this world. And I am a sewing, beading, floral designer.

My first Giving day

Today is my first official Giving day because today I am near the computer and I could do the joining process. Yesterday was my first actual day because it felt right to start. I bought breakfast for a young man who is joining the Marines. He looked much too young to be making that decision. I pray for his safety and his success as a Marine. Yesterday was an easy give. I am eager to see what today brings.

Support our Cause of the Month
In November, we're sponsoring a cause that has been started by fellow giver, Lubabat. We are so deeply touched and impressed by Lubabat's strength of character & spirit. Lubabat was diagnosed with MS in the mid 90s and then in August of 09, she was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. Her reaction has been so inspirational - she is thriving through giving. She is hosting a Christmas Give and her theme is "going small to make a big impact" We have named her our November Cause of the Month and would be grateful for your support!
