Yesterday, I was feeling a little worn down. My 2 1/2 year old daughter was having a very "testing" kind of day. If I said the sky was blue she'd say it was black, everything was an argument and this went on throughout the day so it was a little bit tiring for the whole family (her too, I'm sure). Yesterday, gosh, I hardly remember it. I was attentive to the needs of others at work. I was supportive of a friend going through a hard time with her boyfriend, I brought home the ingredients for a healthy meal for my family (which my husband prepared while I spent time playing with our daughter).Today the giving has been more obvious...My friend was going to the court to get married today. Yesterday I took strawbeeries to share at work and they were eaten quickly so I'm sure they were enjoyed. I work at a nursing home. I was able to support one of the residents by taking her to an important meeting and then buying her an ice cream afterwards. Last night a friend offered to have my daughter over for dinner so my husband and I could g on a date night. It's been a while so we were happy and had a wonderful dinner at a veg/vegan restaurant. I think I will order Cami's book after reading someones post about it! Today I took my friend at work, who I mentioned earlier was having a hard time, a bag of dinner fixins. I put all the ingredients for spaghetti in it so she wouldn't have to think about or buy dinner tonight, just throw it together and feed herself and the kids.
