Round 1, Day 12 - Reconnecting and Celebrating Your Mistakes

Today I reached out to a friend that I hadn't communicated with in several years. Her initial response was kind of frosty but I persisted. I eventually got a short but nice email back from her earlier today letting me know what is going on with her. I was concerned with her initial terse reply but I'm glad I didn't let it put me off. It was good getting in touch and reconnected.

Catching Up, Days 6-11, Round 1

I haven't posted in a while so I'm listing my gives in one fell swoop!

Day 6 -- I gave a bag of groceries to the Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank
Day 7 -- I gave a donation to St Jude Children's Research Hospital
Day 8 -- I donated a bag of clothing to the church across the street from my home
Day 9 -- I gave several boxes of books and magazines to my local library (I got some exercise doing this too!)
Day 10 - I hand delivered an order to a customer (I never do this!)

Round 1, Day 5 - Everyone is an Artist

Today I signed up to be a volunteer for the following organization:

Everyone is an Artist:

Everyone as Artist is Pittsburgh's only full-time art gallery and studio dedicated to artists with disabilities. Art instructor coordinates art classes five days a week for clients with developmental disabilities and gallery exibits occur every two months. Craft products featuring client artwork are also sold in the gallery.
