Day 11: Celebrating 3 Years

Tuesday marked exactly three years since Josh and I started dating. And, now, in 86 days he'll be my husband.

I got him just a little happy to mark the occasion. I didn't see him for like 4 hours. LOL

Day 10: In Memory of Mrs. Linda Dean Bounds

DAY 10

I've been thinking a lot about my aunt with my wedding getting so close. I just can't believe she won't be there to share in the moment.

I made a $25 donation in her memory to Susan G. Komen For The Cure.

Day 9: A Treat For My Buddy

On this beautiful sunny day in Mississippi, Josh and I decided to go out to the reservoir and spend a few hours soaking up some of that sun. As we were walking out the door, we decided to give our dog Buddy a treat; we brought him with us.

He freakin' loved it. Sometimes Josh and I get so busy with what we've got going on, we forget to show Buddy all the attention he deserves, It was nice to give him this outing to see some new sights. As you can see, his tongue was flopping all over the place… Continue

Day 8: A "Congrats on Getting Pregnant Gift"

So, one of my bridesmaids will be about 5 months pregnant with twins when she precedes me down the aisle on August 23!!

They've been trying for about a year now, and we are so excited for them (her husband is a groomsmen too).

I wanted to give her a little something to say Congrats so I bought some plain baby bibs and added my own little touch to them. Just in case, you are a little slower on the weekend as I often am, Jack and Genesis are their dog and cat.

Day 7: My Time AND My Talent

Today, we had another committee for the 2008 Chick Ball.

I'm working on Publicity and a special Award we will present.

All of the money we raise goes to the Center for Violence prevention. Our goal for this year is to help the Center get a new van. Theirs is on its last legs and it is the lifeline for all their clients.

I am a little late today in getting my blog posted. It's because I did go out and brave the sales. But I'm not really sure why because I wasn't able to get anything I'd hoped to. Luckily my husband and I only attempted to go to two stores so it wa...

It's my first day here. I found a link to this site buried in the news feed of my Facebook. That it caught my attention among the usual status updates and Farmtown requests is a minor miracle. But, here I am. This is a good site for me. I believe ...

So, kind of a slow week. It feels a little like cheating, but my gifts for Wed and Thurs were comments and acknowledgment of things that my husband and coworkers do/have done. My husband is.... not overly motivated when it comes to helping with ho...

It seemed appropriate on the day after Thanksgiving, a day dedicated to giving thanks and eating, to donate to a charity that is committed to feeding hungry children. So my first day of giving was a donation to the 'We've Got Your Back' backpack p...

I'm normally not a Black Friday shopper, but during my Thanksgiving visit with my Mom yesterday, she mentioned several things that she needs. So, today I was on a mission. I found a nightgown that was just what she wanted, but they didn't have her...

My mom and I were running errands today. We stopped by our friend at work just to say hi. I think she enjoyed the company and that we were thinking of her!
