Do not forget, that behind every great man there is a woman. Men need women in their life to help fulfill their needs for balance. If a man is not taken care of and loved by a woman then he can be no leader. As much as a man is a leader, so are the…

Today is day 16

I have not posted a blog here since Nov. 3rd.... which was day 9 - I believe. I totally do not want to be a "fall off" person here. Just for myself, really, I want to stay mindful and committed here to this website here, till day 29. I may not be updating every day, but I will maintain my blogs till day 29.

I cannot go back, and list day by day an actual "giving" event to document here. BUT, I can say that I live more mindful in each moment of my day, and in situations where I have a choice to… Continue

Today - Tuesday - Day 9 - Cleaning out the fire place for my husband

Okay - So I have to admitt, I wanted to clean out the fire place a little bit for myself as well as it was more so to please my husband. I LOVE FIRES. So cozy, so warm, so magical to watch. And I especially like sitting with my husband next to the fire. So I cleaned the fire place, then had an inclination to rearrange the room to set it up so my husband and I could sit infront of the fire on the love seat. Today is a beautiful day. Absolutely beautiful. Fall is one of my favorite times of the ye… Continue

Day Eight: A helpful advisor and listening ear

I helped a friend today work out some ideas she had. This gift I gave is one that I did not seek out or pre-think about. This particular friend calls me from time to time for my guidiance, and I love her dearly, and love to help her. Do these 29 days of giving have to be the giving of something tangible or something that is pre-thought of and actually more conscious then subconscious? I feel like I give alot every day in all sorts of ways, and now that I am doing this challenge, I am more and mo… Continue

Day six and seven: Snow suits/Computer Help/GRATEFULLNESS

Halloween night was a wonderful little evening. My son is three, and my good friend has a three old as well. They went together, and this was really the first year they understood everything and it was so darn cute! I was so thankful to have such a wonderful evening. I gave my friend my son's snow suit to borrow, or to keep, it does not truly fit my son anymore. They are going ot Colorado this week for a business trip and needed it!
I gave my mother some help on getting a new email account. She… Continue
