Why I'm choosing to give:
2008 has been a really rough year. I feel that I need to step outside of myself and spend time sharing with others...whether it's words or things.
What I'd most like to receive:
the pleasure that I get from giving and sharing with others...and a bright red front loading washer & dryer wouldn't hurt.
About me:
Editor of Wickedly Chic (www.wickedlychic.com) a stylish shopping resource devoted to featuring & promoting independent businesses...co-founder of Marmalade Pink (www.marmaladepink.com) a fashion co-op made up of indie business owners. Avid shopper & reader. Total foodie. Nutty mom.

Hi there! Welcome to the 29-Day Giving Challenge. I'm so happy you decided to commit.

Enjoy your 29-Days and don't forget to share some stories to help inspire others. Posting stories in your personal blog is very easy and will allow you to keep a handy record of your gifts. It's great to share what you gave, any observations you make, as well as notes about what you are receiving throughout the challenge.

If you need help posting in your Personal Giving Blog, follow the directions here.

HELP US GROW: Our initial goal is to have 2,000 committed givers by the end of July, so please help spread the word. Email the www.29gifts.org link to friends and invite them to join us. Write about the challenge and include a challenge badge on your website, blog or e-newsletter. Or forward the link to media contacts.

Good giving!

Mbali, this is such a pertinent post for me right now. I'm struggling with forgiveness and resentments I hold against someone right now. I know, rationally, that it is hurting me far more than it will ever hurt her... I can't let go yet. I'm working…
