- Why I'm choosing to give:
- Because it just feels good :-) I had been doing it sporatically, but would like it to become second nature.
- What I'd most like to receive:
- After reading the book, I think I actually need to learn a little more about receiving. It's easy for me to give others help when they need it, but it's very hard for me to ask or receive it in return. I'm learning this is a gift to others in and of itself.
- How did you hear about the 29-Day Giving Challenge?
- Someone on a friend's facebook page, who was doing 40 bags in 40 days for lent, had mention that she was in the middle of "29 Gifts." I did a little digging, bought the book, and here I am.

All right, yes, as I bow my head, I'm backing out again. I feel like I was coasting along this time around after being so gung-ho the first few days. I lost track of the count. I went through a day and went back to see where I had given rather than consciously giving and reflecting on it at the end of the day. Sure, I gave I'm sure, but this isn't exactly how I planned on doing this at the time I started. I'm capable of doing better.

I don't think I've had my count right. The 13th was my first day. Day 9 would have been on November 21st. I think I counted that as day 7, so my numbers are all messed up. At least I had my giving counted correctly.
I got to my parents' house on Wednesday afternoon. Mom and Dad didn't get home til around 5pm. I had plans to meet with my uncle and my cousin at BW3's in town. My good deed for the day was to pick up the tab for the three of us, and one extra beer for…

I'm having to dig for finding what I gave for the day here lately, and then the day gets away from me. Friday I had traded Misty so she could leave at 4:15 and I worked the late shift. I'm going to call that my gift for Friday. I have waited nine years or so to get back on day shift. I now work 7:45a-4:15p Monday through Friday. Actually, come Monday that will change.
