Lovely to read your responses - thank you for sharing this with me. My friend Norma was swept away today and was treated to a wonderful facial, massage, pedicure etc and then was whisked off for a new hair do - she was absolutely delighted and when I dropped her off back home this afternoon - we were out the whole day together - she said she felt as though she'd been away on holiday - apart from that she looked gorgeous and was bubbling with the excitement of it all. - I run my own guesthouse from our home. I've been married to my very special husband for the past 25 years and we have a 24 year old daughter and a 23 year old son who give us great joy. I am a writer with a need to stop procrastinating. I love to sing, cook, music in general, hiking and camping. Friends are very important to me. About to start training to be a literacy trainer for an NGO which is hugely exciting and a realisation of an important goal of mine.

Since I started '29 days' I've realised that I haven't just started a fixed 29 days of giving, I've started an ongoing awareness of giving. Some days go by in such a rush that I don't stop and ask myself "what did I give today?". However, I've noticed that the opportunities to give are presenting themselves to me! - Goodmorning, we are camping this weekend, and yes, we have internet. As you can see from the picture below, we back right up to the water. (out rv is right behind the big tree.) I guess we are on the inlet, not directly on the lake, it is very nice and quiet. Got up early this morning and walked down to the little island and got some pictures, only problem though was it is so humid the camera fogged up. So there is a haze to them. Need to find out how to prevent this. I thought we were going to be secluded out in the country, but we are only 4 miles from lots to do. That's me, out in the country but just around the corner from shopping!! Came back from my walk to bacon and eggs!! My husband is the best! So, until later, have a nice day. (sorry if I duplicate comments to several members, just short on time)
