I agree
well it's been a while since I thought of writing here, but I've been giving - though my 29 days seem to be a little hit and miss, so I've worked on 29 *things* sometimes or 29 minutes, but I do try with the 29 consecutive days.

So things I've done have mainly been helping me clear out my place, so I hope that's ok.

Having stored stuff in my hallway for ages always meaning to take it to the local charity shop, my cleaner mentioned that she did carboot sales, so I offered it to her. More then 29 items, but slightly less then 29 bags. She'd take a box/bag per week. I don't feel bad that the charity didn't get the stuff and I'm glad it helped someone who needs it. There were items in the stuff, that she was delighted with personally and wants to keep.

Another things I have been doing is the dog rescue sites I visit hold online auctions, where they ask members to donate items, so I try to keep a box of 29 items ready to go on the auctions so that they can help raise some much needed funds. These can be items I source from charity shops - cheap and cheerful, it's amazing how well comical tat sells...in aid of humour!

At the moment life is a little hectic, though I'm not working much is happening at home and I am studying lots but I am still trying to fit things in with this.

As a generally giving person, one of the things I'm learning at the moment is to not forget to give to myself as this is also important.

Well, enough from me for now and I'll be back soon!!

Mary,
I requested to be your friend.
If you are still interested in being my online friend here, PLEASE click on my little picture-to the left-go to my profile and send me a friend request!
We can only request 100 friends at a time and I am over my limit, as I am the
Official Welcomer of International Women!
I will be deleting your request and many other old ones to make room for the new ones!
Thanks, and certainly nothing personal!

We did a "give" in Atlanta a few months ago and gave away 100 roses on a sidewalk, it was 9 members from the metro ATL area, we started a "local" group, and you can start or join one too!
Make friends, read blogs, write blogs and leave other folks comments! Post pics and videos, join inner groups and GIVE! Have fun and watch for miracles to happen in your life when you do 29 in 29! Hope to see you around in the site!
