- About me:
- I am a five year breast cancer kicking survivor, health activist, and mother of three teenagers, as well as the founder of the grassroots non-profit organization, The Get In Touch Foundation. GIT's cornerstone mission is the Get In Touch Girls' Program & Daisy Wheel, which teaches girls in grades 5-12 the importance of, and how to do a breast self exam.
I thank God every day for giving me the opportunity to "change the world one girl at a time!"

I finish this "challenge" the same way I began it...by inviting friends to give it a whirl, open their eyes, step out of their box, "be the change they wish to see in the world."

Day 25
Kids don't come with a set of "instructions" and we oftentimes have to parent "by the seat of our pants" - but it's always nice to cry on a friend's shoulder.
Sure am glad I've got big shoulders!
