Some days that's about all I can give! I'm also at our great library quite a bit, and use the printer there since mine is not working. I always leave a few extra quarters sitting out to give someone after me a bit of a break. MS

I was recently bowled over with Cami Walker's note regarding her diagnosis of MS and her subsequent relief from some of the symptoms after creating her "29 day" challenge. I have had some features of this disease, which my doctor suggested was a possibility about 4 years ago. However, I've never had a definitive diagnosis--most likely due to denial of it, and also because I do not have the insurance for the spinal tap procedure. Advice for a 21 year old

My daughter's b-day is today. The pivotal 21st year. I decided I liked the idea of the women in her life writing out their own unique advice to her on what they have learned over the years, what they think is worth sharing, and perhaps providing the words that they themselves may have most liked to hear at that stage of their lives. Did not even realize it being "Breast Cancer Awareness" month until after I walked out of the mammogram appointment the morning of Oct 1st. A gift to myself then. And a small offering later that day to our friend, Elysia, in CA--you'll triumph, for certain!

Breathes life...

into "where do I start?" Where do I start to give in order to have it felt somewhere--when, really, it becomes no more complicated than sending out a greeting to my neighbor! And then I take steps from there...

I love the idea of this community- witnessing of a very conscious intention to put ourselves out there in as many ways possible. It becomes like a road sign in my mind as I go about my day: "where, and in what ways can I give today?"
