The gift for Day 14 has been the gift of mail! I mailed what I hope was an encouraging card to a colleague that has been grieving a loss. I couldn't find any good encouraging cards in the stores ( I looked at multiple places) so I ended up getting a blank one and writing a quote in it. We aren't particularly close but I hope that it will let her know that I am thinking of her!
I also put a catalog that should have gone to my neighbor's house in their mailbox. My husband was just going…

The gifts for Day 12 were patience and empathy. Patience for others and empathy with others. I was not in the best of moods so these gifts were DEFINITELY a challenge.

The gift for Day 11 was to loan my cell phone to my husband for the day. His phone had broken the night before and he really needs a phone to be accessible to his customers. It may not sound like a big gift but to me (and to him) it was definitely one of the most selfless gifts I have given thus far.
