Whoops...!

Already slipping - miissed posting yesterday. First a little thing but very big to me - Over the last two days I've been very mindful of my thoughts when preparing meals. I often get very cross inside when there's not even the basic courtesy of a thank you. I know it's something that needs doing every day and thanks makes it so much pleasanter, the acknowledgment rather than just the expectation of food on the plate. Day 6

More books and clothes to the charity shop. I've entered into conversation with people as I usually do but tonight has brought home the littleness of these gives. It's been the Festival of Remembrance on the television tonight. Wherever we are, let us remember and give thanks to those who fight and die for us.

Hello, Ruth. Steven is doing very well, thank you for asking! Considering what he went through, if it weren't for the scar on his forehead, you wouldn't know he'd been in a wreck at all. Truly a miracle. Unfortunately, his blurred vision may never improve, he can never blow his nose (imagine that), he can't bend over or exert pressure and he probably shouldn't drive. All in all, he's still extremely lucky to be alive, and physically and mentally fine. His musical talent is still there, too. He composes music and play several instruments. We're all very thankful and proud of him.
