Stealing Blessings

One lesson that I have had a very hard time learning is to allow someone to give to me. I was always taught that it is more blessed to give than to receive. Therefore, it has always been hard for me to allow anyone to help me or give to me. Then one day someone made it very clear to me. When we give, we are blessed. When we don't allow someone to give to us, we are stealing their blessings. That really put things into perspective for me. I still have trouble asking someone for help, but if someo… Continue

Thanks Paul! I am looking forward to this challenge. I have been practicing "giving" for several days now. I just want to put a lot of thought into my first of 29!

Thank you Paul! Day two was one that I honestly did not think about...I live near Ft Hood and am a school Nurse. The tragedy was felt at every level last night. I had to stay late as we were on lock down to take care of the children whose parents could not get to them due to being on the base. I didn't even think about giving yesterday but as I was sitting here I realised that maybe just by playing a game with one of our little ones as they waited for mom to come home was part of giving. It is so much more than material things. Please lift our families up in prayer.
