- I can relate to Cami. From health issues an no answers going from one doctor to another for 8 years now with no real diagnosis... Although they all diagnose me with something. I have also had/have addiction issues. I have been sober now for 16 years. I have been giving for 2 days now and it just feels good. When I am ill I feel I have nothing to give.
I have 4 beautiful children who suffer along with me when I am ill. It effects them greatly and I hate to see the pain, sadness and anger they have been through with me! My mother who is my rock and my hero read this book and it was her gift to me. She wrote about it in a blog and when I said it spoke to me it also spoke to her and how similar my health issues and much of my life stuff are so in tune with Camis...

After my walking in the rain and running myself the last few days not only did I wake up tired but also with swollen lymph nodes, sore throat and my ears hurt... Uggggg. I thought I do not want to go to work.. I have nothing to give today. Knowing if I do not go to work right now I will be fired if I miss another day!! Working with new doctors and trying to get disability approved is very difficult!! So I woke up, an hour early mind you, drank my coffee, said my prayers and did my…

Day 1. Before even receiving the book from my mother a friend at work needed a ride home. She works 30 minutes later than me and normally I would have said no because by the end of my work day I am psyically and mentally exhausted. But this day when she asked I did not even hesitate to say yes. I patiently waited in my car for her to get off and drove her home. Then amazingly I had a bit of energy came home and showered and went to the bbq my mom invited me to with some very dear friends…

Only on day 4 of the Giving Challange I have once again found myself researching on the internet with they symptoms I have had throughout the years. Today I came upon this article. A year and a half ago I was diagnosed with Optic Neuritis and lost sight in my right eye for about three and a half monthts. I was giving an MRI to see if I had any lesions caused by MS. The scan was clean now by with reading this article maybe it would be such a bad idea for the thousands of doctors I have seen…
