Thank you very much! This is an excellent project! And I hope to have as many as I know involved! I hope to make my gifts more meaningful everyday.

This parcel was one of several silver make-up bags that I got really cheaply, another of several consisted of slipperettes and crocheted tights with messages about keeping your tootsies warm! This was inspired by another givers winter-warmer packages. All really nice things, but cheaply bought.
I love anonymous gives!

Hi Dawn,

Of course! I'd love to chat. My books are available for sale everywhere. I wrote a memoir about my breast cancer experience, as well. You can read excerpts at www.jennienash.com and I think I will give away a book every 29 days on this site. I'm loving this idea.....

I understand the feeling about being a first time blogger. Before this challenge, I had never blogged. What you wrote here is a perfect blog. Follow the directions for blogging in the comment that Peter sent you. If you have any problems or questions just ask. By the way, great beginning for the challenge. The gift to the homeless man was classic.

Been away from my computer but not my giving!

Wow...as I looked back at my last blog date, I scolded myself for not posting more often...but it is what it is..and it is sooooo busy lately! My journey of giving has continued through this day...it is now such an integrated part of my life and living...just like eating a meal. My giving has been subtle and a few times... grand...but always in the aspect of giving from behind the scenes! I feel it is very important to just do things...as it really doesn't matter who gets the glory! A LOT of gre… Continue

Day 5 has it already been 5 days?

Today was a different sort of energy mixture. I was feeling under the weather for the most part...achy all over for some reason. I 'gave' in my usual ways today but not my special give. Tonight I went to Target Optical to pick up my new reading glasses. This was my 4th trip there, and I was feeling a bit frustrated at having had wasted so many trips and so much time. When I walked up to the Optical department, the cage was down across the door and they were on break for another 15 minutes! Yikes… Continue

Notes on Day 4-Memories with Mom

Odd how things pop into our minds. I was in the middle of a hectic workday(Wednesday)...and I was shown to go home, pick up my Mom and go to the movies to see Marley and Me! I honestly can't remember the last time I went to the movies...especially in the middle of the day (I know, I need a life)...so I listened. Drove home, picked up my Mom (who is staying with us for a few months) and we went to see Marley and Me. We had the entire theatre to ourselves! It was like the Universe rented the entir… Continue

Giving and Receiving Days 2-3a nd notes on 4

Wow! The giving part of this wonderful intention has been so easy....the hardest part is finding time to write a blog. Presently, I am the CEO of three companies. One company, we sell hundreds of thousands of items on QVC! I even go on TV to sell some of them. I am also a published author and have a new book release in March with two more in the works. I have a complete movie film production at DreamWorks...so, I'm not bragging...I'm working outside my brain to find more time to write a blog! It… Continue

First Day of giving was awesome

Yesterday I joined this beautiful intention group of givers! I was going to start today because of signing up rather late in the day yesterday. Well as usual, the Universe had other plans! We went out to eat at a new restaurant and there was an hour wait! Yikes! But my son (24) really wanted us to experience this place...so we waited. About 25 minutes into the waiting process, a homeless man walked up to me and asked for a donation to help him. All I had in my hand was my cell phone. So I asked… Continue
