Today was about forgiving and rebuilding a strained relationship with a colleague. I started by expressing my appreciation of their knowledge and passion on a project that has forced us to collaborate on many levels. I shared with a colleague on Monday the 29 Gifts and what the book has meant to me. As I finished the book last night I knew who I would give it to. I wrapped the book in purple tissue and placed in a beautiful crafted gift bag. I wrote a card in hopes that she would find the joy it has brought me. Monday was a big day for me. I had an appointment with a breast surgeon to exam a lump in my right breast. It took all my courage to walk through the door of the office, to not cancel the appointment, to be brave. The doctor was prompt and smiled with ease. After a brief hello she said, " I think you have a cyst but let's make sure". I was a luck one, the lump was just a cyst and easily drained.
