So the energy in my giving during my first cycle pretty much fizzled out. My birthday was on July 31st...the big 3-0! So I feel like I was receiving so much love from all around that I wasn't giving anything! My friends and family were awesome to me, and gave me my first ever surprise birthday party the saturday before my birthday. I was totally and completely surprised! I feel like my energy has been pretty low this week. So this has given me a huge issue as far as feeling like having the extra energy to give. I therefore have been much less intentional about it. Still looking to the positive side of life, just having a little bit harder time day to day. So I have been logging my giving in a little notebook because life has gotten busy and I am too tired at night to sit down and post. I think that this will come back to bite me...now I have 10 days worth of giving to write about so here it goes in a nut shell:

My first random gift of the day was giving one of my delicious, $2 market English muffins to my brother in law/housemate. He enjoyed it immensely and I was happy to share!
My second gift was simply going for a bedtime walk with the kids and dog. But, as this challenge has proven again and again, one gift generally leads to another, as well as the opportunity to receive gifts!
