My mother is finally at peace and I miss her greatly. As much as my heart ached for her while alive watching her in pain, my heart aches now because I miss her so much. I dont have any regrets, I cared for her the best I could and gave my all. I know she died knowing she was loved.
It was the most exhausting giving I have done, and I certainly didnt see it as giving some days, it was hard.. but I am so glad I did.
Trying to make my moms last days the best they could possibly be was also a gift to myself.
