I caught the happy virus last night
When I was out singing beneath the stars.
It is remarkably contagious -
So kiss me.
At This Party
I don't want to be the only one here
Telling all the secrets -
Filling up all the bowls at this party,
Taking all the laughs.
I would like you
To start putting things on the table
That can also feed the soul
The way I do.
That way
We can invite
A hell of a lot more
Friends.
It Felt Love

It felt the encouragement of light

Worst Parent in the World
Somewhere out there is a plaque with my picture on it and the words "Worst Parent in the World" stamped in gold leaf on it. I've actually managed to win this award two weeks in a row now!! LOL!

Another Santa Barbara Wildfire
My daughter is going to college down in Santa Barbara and for the second time this school year, I left work early to drive down and get her and pull all of her stuff out of her dorm room. I was down there last thursday in 101 degree heat, with large plumes of the fire spreading a couple of miles away and lots of smoke in the air. You know I think you're right! Looking back I can see where this has happened before but I was much less AWARE of it. The more I work with this challenge the more is always comes back to consciousness and awarness. It's amazing really.
