I don't know how to give

Yesterday I had to have a biopsy of my TONGUE....not at all fun and not something I was fond of..Today I will go to the trailer and try to think positive thoghts while I enjoy the fire and the stars in the sky tonight. Why I'm choosing to give:: I read the book and love it! I have always given, mostly out of guilt but now I want to give from my heart with no thought other than to do from the goodness of me

What I'd most like to receive:: What I send out, I wish for peace, love and understanding

How did you hear about the 29-Day Giving Challenge?: The book

About me:: Hi, I am a single woman who has struggled all my life with illness, too numerous to mention but I do have Lupus and Fibromyalgia just to begin with.
I have always done for others and never for myself and now it is catching up with me. I have not let my struggles with my health defeat me but some days are harder than others. My solution most times is a good sense of humor and trying everything my body allows. My boyfriend always says "things could be worse" and he is right. I have lots to be grateful for and so begins my journey

My gift for today was allowing an old friend a phone conversation and visit. We live in the same building but we haven't spoken in a long while. It's awkward because he cares for me more than a friend and I already have a steady boyfriend of four years. I wish him well and a very happy birthday tomorrow

Today we had the graveside service for my boyfriend's mama named Emma who passed away peacefully on June 7th.

My gift today was supporting my boyfriend and his family by attending this service even though I was not feeling well myself

I am grateful for free health care in Canada, good doctors and caring nurses

Today I am having another cystoscopy (scope to look inside my bladder) to see how my bladder is looking inside. I have a bladder disease called "Interstitial Cystitis" which is a painful inflammatory disease of the bladder. There is no cure, just treatments to help with the inflammation. Bottoms up!
