27th Day 14 - I cooked Thanksgiving dinner for my family and I invited a gal (from my previous job) and her 2 children for dinner. She told me how this would be the first year away from family and how she always helped prepare the holiday meals before so I made sure to invite her early so she could help prepare the meal.

28th Day 15 - I made sure to smile and be kind and let people by during the black friday madness - as silly of a give as that sounds like - it was something I set my mind to do… Continue

Missed a few days - but getting back on track.

21st Day 10 - Day off for me (we'll call in a Mental Health Day) so we took my mother in law sight seeing - really just downtown Omaha but she enjoyed herself greatly
24th Day 11 - Phone pledge to the VFW
25th Day 12 - Money for Esteria's house (something I read on Kelly Rae's blog) and I almost forgot - My sister asked if I wanted to make invitations for her Christmas party and some ornament things that she will use to decorate for the party, so I got those done yesterday (this was sort of a se… Continue

Day 8 and Day 9

Day 8 - $6.00 to the kids school at the book fair which gets the school 6 new books.

Day 9 - Reassuring words to a coworker and a pair of earrings. Gave my sons almost brand new jeans (just purchased before summer went to wear them for school and they don't fit) to our neighbor. Bought the book The Four Agreements for my wonderful mother in law.

They are....."heartbroken and scared and are now begging you for our prayers. They have spent the day on their knees, praying that God will keep th… Continue

FOr day 2 I donated $39.00 to the Open Door Mission.

Day 5 - Bought from some kids who came to the door for a fundraiser
Day 6 - $10.00 Thanksgiving dinner donation at the grocery store
