- After a very long 2 years struggling with health issues I am ready for a new focus..a new purpose that doesn't include doctors, testing, diagnoses & surgeries and the such.

- About me:
- My name is Michelle, age 43 and mother of 4 beautiful children (2 step / 2 mine). I have a very successful career in the insurance industry that keeps me busy traveling across the country. My husband, Rick next to my children is my greatest blessing. After 17 years our love for each other is as strong as it was the day we married...dare I say maybe even stronger. Or, maybe better said...we appreciate the meaning of true love today better than we did back then. We are richly blessed...and, are prepared for whatever God has in store for us next!

Still in recovery mode from surgery...so my gift giving continues to be sporadic. Another 10 days until I am back to work at which point I am starting my 29 days over...

We have all seen the poor individuals whose job it is to stand roadside holding a big sign promoting tax services, pizza parlors, selling gold etc.. Normally I drive by & ignore them. Today the man waved & I waved back. He got the biggest smile on his face…

Monday I sat thinking what gift did I give today? Hmmm...then it hit me that I gave one without even realizing it at the time. Monday was my post-op checkup with the surgeon. Upon my arrival to the office I noticed the man to my right was in quite a bit of distress. About 5 minutes of me sitting there he turned to me & asked if I had had surgery as well & how long it had been for me. Such a blessing to have my bff Terry in town along with my parents...the last three days has been the best since surgery. Not that I feel better but wonderful company makes it better!
My gifts this last few days have included:
1) Listening (with a dab of advice) to a friend going thru marital problems. Hope I was a help in her time of need...I think I was!
