Last night Andy left for Amsterdam and I put an anniversary card in his backpack for him to find today or tomorrow.

We met on eHarmony 8 years ago and our first date was 06-12-04. Since he's gone, I wanted to make sure he had a nice something to read when he was in his hotel (or on his way to the office there).

Hard to believe it's been 8 years, but it has! Someday's feel much longer than others, but he's still my Superman! :-)

Saturday, Andy, Tinky & I drove our 70 minutes to my in-laws place in WI. Friday was Karen's birthday and we decided to bring out her card and gift.

She wasn't feeling well, but we went anyway. And I think going to see her made her feel loved and valued!

Tinky gave her Grammy lots of puppy kisses and we gave her a card and a Visa GC.

Friday's gift was a birthday lunch for my friend Kristal. We went to Culver's and had burgers and Concrete Mixers. YUM!

I also gave her a gift of Mary Kay Satin Hands and a soap saver and face scrubby that I crocheted.

My gift in return- 2 great hugs in thanks! :-)

I didn't turn my PC on over the weekend, so now I need to play catch-up.

Thursday's gift was a $6 donation to some guys who were sitting outside of the Super Walmart near my house. I didn't really check out what it was for, but it was something church-related.

I thought about just leaving and not donating, because my only cash was in my car. But then I put my groceries in the back and grabbed my meager stash and brought it all over to them.
