Shopping cart and Princess book
This morning I went grocery shopping. After loading my groceries into my car, I returned my shopping cart to the cart area. As I was walking back to my car, I noticed someone had left their shopping cart smack in the middle of a handicap parking space, blocking any driver who needed to park there. I took the cart and returned it to the cart area. Being someone who needs to park in these handicap spaces, I know how frustrating it can be when people block the few spots that are available.

Year-end donations
It is so difficult to choose which organizations to donate to. There is such a heavy need for funds from non-profits all over our country and the world. Every day I receive at least 2-4 envelopes from organizations asking for donations. I want to help all of them, but that is not possible. I have my favorites that I am loyal to throughout the year. Heart-driven gift
A few months ago, I bought a new refrigerator and a month later received the $75 rebate for delivery and haul away fees. The rebate was in the form of a prepaid Sears MasterCard debit card. It has been sitting in my purse ever since. I had been trying to think of what I wanted to spend it on. The other day, when I picked my niece up from school, I took her to the daycare where her sisters were so their daddy could pick them all up. Public TV
I am a big fan of public television! Their programming is top notch and educational. This week is the local PBS pledge week here in Phoenix. The local PBS station is struggling with the financial downturn, like so many other organizations. I decided to donate $10 today and make it an on-going monthly contribution directed at one of my favorite local shows.
