All day I racked my brain to figure out what to give, and didn't come up with anything. Then, at midnight, my partner came home complaining of a headache and pain in her neck and upper back. DAY 1



Today I gave by donating $5 to a 10-year-old girl who has brain damage from a buildup of too much bilirubin (causes jaundice) when she was an infant. It's called Kernicterus and it means she's stuck in a body that she has almost no control over. Her sisters are raising funds for her to get surgies that will help her be more independent.

I've been gone for at least a year because I got too sick to tolerate being near the computer. It was a tough year.
