We had a tropical storm come ashore in Pensacola last night. Schools were closed yesterday and today. It has rained for the past 24 hours. Stay inside and eat Okonomiyaki or Nabe.

Welcome to 29 Gifts! I'm so glad you decided to join us.

Enjoy your 29 Days and don't forget to share some stories to help inspire others. If you need help posting in your Personal Giving Blog, follow these directions.

Help Us Grow: Please help spread the word. We're striving to reach our goal of 29,000 committed givers, and you can help: Send this Invitation to friends, write about the challenge and include a badge or our video on your website, blog, facebook, or myspace page.

The book 29 Gifts: How a Month of Giving Can Change Your Life - authored by 29 Gifts founder Cami Walker is now in stores. You can also buy through Amazon.

Support our Cause of the Month
In November, we're sponsoring a cause that has been started by fellow giver, Lubabat. We are so deeply touched and impressed by Lubabat's strength of character & spirit. Lubabat was diagnosed with MS in the mid 90s and then in August of 09, she was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. Her reaction has been so inspirational - she is thriving through giving. She is hosting a Christmas Give and her theme is "going small to make a big impact" We have named her our November Cause of the Month and would be grateful for your support!

Happy giving!

P.S. Don't miss our handy 29-Day Giving Calendar or our cute Gift Note to accompany your gifts.

Good luck on your journey. I'm coming to the end of my 29 days and it has been wonderful. Those little random gifts keep us connected as human beings. Compliments and support are precious gifts.
