Day 7: today I made a donation to the Cancer Society of Canada. In exchange I received a small yellow flower pin for my jacket. What may have been a thoughtless act could actually be the drop in the bucket that helps someone with this horrible disease. I don't know. But it felt good emptying my coin purse for a good cause.
Nothing too deep and thoughtful today. I wonder if I'm losing steam already? Darn. I hope not. I think now I'll read through some other blogs on this…

Day 4, Day 5 & Day 6: I thought I was stumped already! Sorry for the delay in checking in. This is all still new for me and I'm not very good at sticking to a new schedule. I am improving!
It was the gift of listening, giving a shoulder to cry on, and sharing my limited words of wisdom that have kept me busy this week. My goodness! Who said this challenge would be easy - not me, that's for sure. A friend is experiencing marital problems. I am very close to both of them, so it was…

Day 3: giving something today was not hard at all. I visited the site of the M.S. Walk in Burlington and donated $10 to the cause. I was really impressed at the number of volunteers that were involved in the execution of this event! I really felt appreciative of each and every person at the event. We're closer to a cure!
We also had a small family get together this afternoon, celebrating my sister having passed 1 of 3 real estate exams. We both gave her a big celebratory hug and kiss,…

Day 2: today's gift of giving was sort of "given" to me! Right after I described this website to my husband Thursday night and announced my decision to begin this adventure, my husband placed a flyer in my lap. It was an announcement about an event called Cleanup Alton 2012. To commemorate Earth Week, someone in our community was organizing a community trash cleanup. Today was the event and my husband and I picked up trash! It was great. I felt so excited to be a part of this event. It…

Hello there!
rocken nana wwt said… Thank you for your gift of friendship. I think we have lots in common maybe. My giving started with visits or smiles or letting someone ahead of me in line, opening a door. That is still a major part of my gifting. I am sure you will be gift to your community. deb
Your friendship is a blessing~ Thank you.... Hope you enjoy your journey and the site...
rocken nana wwt said… Yby, I am sorry I went to your site also but there was another one who joined that is a landscaper. Sorry. But I did go to yours and love your jewelry and am really liking the sapphire ring and earrings. Hopefully soon I can indulge myself. But sorry about the 1st message. To many thoughts going thru my brain. Plus my cat was here every few minutes wanting something. Still haven't figured it out. I opened the drawer she sleeps in after she eats and put her in, so she must of went to sleep. God Bless deb
rocken nana wwt said… Hi and welcome to a site full of love and gifting. Starting with the home page there are many things to read and idea’s for your gifting. There are also things to download to help with your gifting and a calendar, which I feel is the best thing. I still use it after 2+ years here. There are contests to enter, birthday’s to celebrate, and much more to see and do.
There is also many groups within the site. Take your time looking them over and there is never any pressure to join. I hope if you are having any problems or questions you will let me know and if I can’t help will try and find someone who can. I hope you will be greatly blessed with your gifting. Take care and God Bless. deb
