Day 20 and 21

Yesterday I donated to an animal adoption group and I treated a friend to lunch. Today, I made my hubby pancakes and sausage. They day isn't over yet. I'm sure I can find more opportunities to give.See More

I spent today shopping with my sister in law. Then I bought her lunch, shared extra coupons I had and ended up treating her to dinner and drinks. She needed a relaxing day. See More

Day 12 & 13

I agreed to joining a community group in need of new leadership. Our goals are to increase membership and provide a venue for social/business meetings. Our little town is in need of a gathering place. Hope I can be of help. makeDay 13Today I spent most of the day cooking. I like to make several meal ahead to make week night meals easier. My husband was out working in the rain most of the day. When he came home I had hot stew ready. See More

Day 5 My Treat

Today I picked up the tab for a favorite cousin I ran into at lunch. I actually had an impromptu lunch with several family member. It was nice.All my gives seem to be money related. I want to try and focus on giving other ways. (leave it to me to judge my own giving.. old habits are hard to break I suppose.) See More

My nephew was featured in a sportsman magazine this month. (Professional Angler) I found two copies left and took one to my mother. She is one proud grandma!

It has been a wonderful experience and I am signing up for 29 more days!

Day 26, 27 and 28

Friday I went the extra mile for a business associate. Since I was leaving town I was crunched for time, but I made it happen

Saturday, I gave up my seat at a crowded restaurant for a couple, one of which was in a wheelchair. It didn't really feel like a "give" since it was just plain the right thing to do.

Sunday I gave my dog sitter a great big tip. She deserved it for taking such good care of my four legged babies.

I visited my cousin in the hospital today. It has been about ten years since I have seen her. Years of drug abuse have left her in a terrible state. It breaks my heart.
