Welcome to 29 Gifts! I'm so glad you decided to join us.

Enjoy your 29 Days and don't forget to share some stories to help inspire others. If you need help posting in your Personal Giving Blog, follow these directions.

Help Us Grow: Please help spread the word. We're striving to reach our goal of 29,000 committed givers, and you can help: Send this Invitation to friends, write about the challenge and include a badge or our video on your website, blog, facebook, or myspace page.

The book 29 Gifts: How a Month of Giving Can Change Your Life - authored by 29 Gifts founder Cami Walker is now in stores. You can also buy through Amazon.

Support our Cause of the Month
In November, we're sponsoring a cause that has been started by fellow giver, Lubabat. We are so deeply touched and impressed by Lubabat's strength of character & spirit. Lubabat was diagnosed with MS in the mid 90s and then in August of 09, she was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. Her reaction has been so inspirational - she is thriving through giving. She is hosting a Christmas Give and her theme is "going small to make a big impact" We have named her our November Cause of the Month and would be grateful for your support!

Happy giving!

P.S. Don't miss our handy 29-Day Giving Calendar or our cute Gift Note to accompany your gifts.

So, kind of a slow week. It feels a little like cheating, but my gifts for Wed and Thurs were comments and acknowledgment of things that my husband and coworkers do/have done. My husband is.... not overly motivated when it comes to helping with ho...

Have you ever tried to buy a simple fedex t-shirt? Why would you, right? Well, one of my sister's friends from Romania wanted one because his nickname is Fedex. If you want to know why, you have to take me out for coffee...it's a funny story that...

It seemed appropriate on the day after Thanksgiving, a day dedicated to giving thanks and eating, to donate to a charity that is committed to feeding hungry children. So my first day of giving was a donation to the 'We've Got Your Back' backpack p...

My mom and I were running errands today. We stopped by our friend at work just to say hi. I think she enjoyed the company and that we were thinking of her!

It seems appropriate to start a cycle of giving the day after a holiday dedicated to giving thanks. I read the article about 29 gifts in Body & Soul magazine over a month ago, and thought, "what a cool thing. I should do that." Then something shi...

Thank you, Deb. I hope to get my hip x-rayed tomorrow - it has been unbearably painful for about 2 1/2 months. Once I get the x-rays, the next step is probably PT.
