My gift today was quite simple. At work, we have a deal where we prepare the registration cards for the guest the next day. I now do both tasks of delivering the bills AND setting up breakfast since my colleague is suffering from health issues at this time. He told me that he would take care of said registration cards later on. However, as he stepped away, I took the liberty of alphabetizing them for him. One less thing that he had to do. :)

When I was at the show at Heartland Cafe this past Saturday, I ran into the record producer of KAVUS' old record (KAVUS is the two-man band that I had. We released a CD in 2011. The band, however, is defunct.) We exchanged words and talked about his record release (he is a well-known and talented Chicago musician as well.)
