GIVE YOUR SIGNATURE

How about signing a petition? If you are looking for a give that costs nothing but your name you might find something here that you agree with.

Sometimes our voices should be heard, and sometimes there is someone, somewhere who just needs a little support or someone to speak out for them. You don't need to be an activist or political to do this, you just need to take a look and see if someone or something somewhere could do with a little helping hand… Continue

Update ...

Just in case you signed the petition for Troy Davis, I thought you might like to read the latest - please go here if you are interested.

Today was a good day. We looked for properties to lease for Acorn. We are still a long way off from being able to afford to get our own place but we needed to start looking so that we can start gearing ourselves up for the reality that is going to happen. Please no… Continue

Why not consider giving to Amnesty International this year as you shop for your christmas cards. Or M.D.Anderson, (you can buy their cards at local stores or through their catalogue). Thanks for calling attention to all the Cubans that were left homeless from the hurricane. I still have family there. It really touched me.

Hi Deborah - are you okay? I'm wondering if you're still in "disaster" mode from the hurricane?

Thinking of you!

We survived IKE pretty well! Just went without power for 7 days and it was actually refreshing! We found lots of ways to give during that time and were the recepients of gifts as well-it goes both ways! Glad to see you online!

We are good...thanks. We lost power for a few days but are back up.
This was actually a great time to give to others...meals, sharing generators, ice...the list goes on!
It was great to see the generosity of all Houstonians...it was great.

Deborah, I think your idea of others donating mandalas and giving them to doctors offices and health venues is wonderful! I’d certainly support anyone who wanted to get something like this going, but right now, I’ve got so much on my plate I couldn’t do it myself – at least not yet.

I visited your website and it looks like you are doing good and wonderful things with your art. Your plates remind me of mandalas - they're beautiful!
