That was a nice one today: few days ago I found some mosquito-repellent-thing for outside-use (something you light and then it is producing some smoke that hopefully will keep these little monsters away), and I bought it and today passed it to my dear friend an neighbour, with whom I shared couple of dinners recently - including two in the park, and she got so many mosquito bites than, that it was really annoying for her. Hope it is still of some use in this change of season, but otherwise…

Sometimes - during these times behind my desk - I hardly see a person during the day, so today my gift was send in a mail: I had promised the two friends with whom I study to share some information about children's diseases with them, so today I summarized the stuff out of my favourite book, wrote it down and send to them. Have to learn it anyway :)

Having a friend over for tea. And spreading some good news to two other friends via phone-call.
Yesterday: some vegetables and loads of chocolate to a barbeque at friends. It was the first time in weeks we met WITHOUT the purpose of studying. Nice for a little break, tomorrow we'll study together again. Ah, and some bread to a breakfast with friends. And sharing the address of a friend, who is working as a healer with another friend, who is suffering from cancer.

My gift yesterday: a phonecall to my sister on her birthday.
Today: bringing some fruit to my two friends when we were studying together. We had two good hours I guess. In the evening then I went to the 19-day-feast. It was the first feast I officially joined. Everyone congratulated me, and I got some nice presents from those people who wanted to express their joy that I joined their community.

Thanks a lot to everyone for the birthday-wishes... I did not even remember putting the date on my page :)... I was having a great day indeed... We started with a small party on the eve before - since I am in Israel, and both the Jewish calender and the Baha'i-calender have their days starting on sunset: three friends came over, two of them just for dinner, with one of them I went to the place of a friend of him after, to sit on an amazing balcony and watch the skyline of Haifa. We talked a lot - he took my the fear of entering a new "age" now , the next morning had breakfast in a nice café both of us like - and the people there actually invited me for the cake and tea I had :). Giving them a tip and also sharing the harmony-code with them was my gift of the day. After practising some Hebrew reading on "the little prince" I left for the Baha'i-gardens for some prayers, then my roommate and his girlfriend took me to the beach and to some Mikwe (a jewish bath for cleaning - in this case actually just a hole in the stone, where some fresh water from the mountain was running into - but amazing). This had been my plan for the day: cleaning myself in a Mikwe seems to be a good thing to do on your birthday. So now we all had Shabbat-dinner, and still the Shabbat-candle is burning on my desk.
