- I am reading the book 29 gifts right now. I actually had a plan (prior to finding this book) to give something every day in the month of December but then I didn't keep track of it and lost momentum. I am a huge believer in the fact that the more we give, the more we receive by way of satisfaction and excitement of making others lives easier, better or happier.
- What I'd most like to receive:
- Satisfaction of knowing I am making a difference. Seeing others "pay it forward"

One of my friends at church always makes a special point of coming from her pew in the very back of the church all the way up to our pew in the very front of the church, to hug me each Sunday morning. For me, this journey began with a chance trip to the library in late December 2010. As I headed to the check out desk with the items I was going to take home that day, a book title caught my attention. "29 Gifts" jumped out at me so I stopped and read about the book.
