Why I'm choosing to give:

I have just come home from a spiritual journey to the Southwest.
I made the intention before I left that I was going to be inspired and left the rest to the Universe. I met the most amazing people in such remote areas of our country. My totem followed me where ever I went (Raven) to help me stay focused. I knew that coming back to NJ was only a respite, that there was more to unfold.

What I'd most like to receive:

I would like to receive peace of mind. I want to count less and less on the material things of this world and more on relationships with other and the richness of a Spiritual life.

About me:

I have had the gift of premonition from when I was a teenager. I denied that gift because I didn't have anyone to guide me. My grandmother was a healer and a psychic, but she had died when I began noticing my gift. After a career in education, I came back to what came to me naturally.
Today, I am a Usui Reiki Master, Life Coach and Reflexologist.
I love teaching others to do Reiki, and I also love working with people toward their personal healing online.
I am excited to be part of the marvelous energy of this group!

One Cycle Completed: Release from Bondage.

Interesting as I reflect back on the past 29 days, interesting that my cycle would end with giving reiki to a dying friend.
In life what are the most valuable things? What do I hold near and dear to my heart? Certainly, it is not material things. Reiki to a dying friend.

My friend is dying. J has stage 4 lung cancer that has metastized to her brain and stomach. She has been taken off chemo and at the moment is hospitalized. I knew something was terribly wrong when she called me yesterday and asked me to come to the hospital. I didn't think I could bear it. To know, really know that our friendship was down to maybe days. Cleaning out closets and more Day 28

Today my hubby and I took bags of clothes to the thrift store that supports the homeless and battered.
We stopped at another thrift store and bought new backpacks for 4 dollars each to give to needy kids at the YMCA.
It was a good day.

Shopping with my daughter.. day 27

Black Friday for me is a nightmare.. I hate shopping, I hate crowds.. put the two together.. it is my worse nightmare.
My daughter on the other hand lives to shop. She asked me to go shopping this Friday. I could think of a thousand excuses not to go, but instead I said YES, We opted for a shopping village instead of the mall. At least we could be outsdie part of the time. Day 26- Michael's Coupon Sharing

I am the coupon guru.. I don't leave the house to shop until I see if there is a coupon for something I am buying.
Today, I went to Michaels to buy a modpodge for some cards I am making. I had a flyer with several coupons.
The gal in front of me was discombobulated and the line was going nowhere. I noticed that the man behind me had an item that could use one of my coupons.. so I passed it along. I think from now on I will carry extra coupons for these moments.. It costs nothing but a thought.… Continue
