Today I gave my time to an old and dear friend of mine. We had fun talking about everything that was new in both of our lives and simply just being in each others presence. She taught me to knit, since I have forgotten, and we just simply enjoyed each other's company. It was nice and pleasant.
I am choosing to give, in hopes to change the way I look at the world and also so that others will be inspired and do it as well.

How did you hear about the 29-Day Giving Challenge?
I am a student at the University of Louisville and recently engaged. I am studying bioengineering in hopes to one day become an MS researcher. Holding two offices within my sorority AOII as vice president of administration and keeper of the ritual, I stay pretty busy but love every minute of it. Just through my experience with AOII, I have been inspired to do more than I ever really thought was possible. I hope to get some new inspiration from this experience as well.

I spent the day with my grandmother. We went to a rummage sale and a local boutique. For lunch she treated me to Gaithers' restaurant which was delicious! The gift I gave was time and a listening ear. My grandpa is a quiet man and my grandma just needs someone to talk to. She recently lost her mother last month and has been working on getting her things together while also taking care of my grandfather.
