Yesterday I told my Mom who lives alone that I would be out to share some left over Easter dinner with her. I work alot of hours and always feel I dont spend enough time with her. I made it a priorty to spend last night with her. It was a gift for both of us to spend 1 on 1 time together. She always loved to cook when my dad was alive and doesnt get to do it so often and so loves when I come over to share a meal with her.

Well this is an unusual gift but it’s a gift.....I have a tendency to snore when I am sleeping on my back (I am told). My husband came home late last night got into bed and proceeded to gently shake me and tell me to roll over as I guess I was snoring. Well that woke me up and that’s not usually a pretty sight lol. So now I’m awake and he is sleeping and snoring loudly! I thought about now poking him and telling him to roll over as I was a little annoyed but......I thought wait a minute this…

I stopped by a local farm that was selling  flowers Easter morning. They had these cute flowered teacups filled with pansies. I have a book club and one of the girls in the club owns a tea shop where we meet allot of the times. I was going to be with 2 of the book club members for Easter so I splurged and bought them each one. They both loved them. I also have recently started to knit. I joined a prayer shawl group at the church and yesterday started the shawl. I had breast cancer 10 yrs ago…

Yummy Maple Candies............I was to vermont during the winter with my daughter in law who is from Flordia.  She wanted to try maple candy but never bought any. I saw them in a speiclaty shop yesterday and instantly thought of Cristy. I will not be with her today on easter but my husband will be bringing her some Easter maple candy so she now will have alittle taste of vermont in April. A blessed Easter to everyone.
