Day 1 -- Compassion

Yesterday was my first day of giving. I had been struggling with the decision of whether or not to reach out to a friend who had deeply hurt me recently. We had not talked in a few weeks, and though I value the friendship, I felt it was up to her to make the first move towards fixing things.
