Norman and I went to Lusitoland (Portruguese festival in Johannesburg) This is an annual festival that raiises money for charity. It was so muddy from the rain the night before but that did not deter the people who were out in big numbers. I enjoyed some prawns while Norman had peri peri chicken washed down with Caiparinhas - delicious. I got some cinammon coated nuts for my daughter.DAy 28 - went to my cousins for a braai and lots of family there from Zim and Zambia - was great to catch up…See More

Had breakfast with 2 old and dear friends and took them each a shopping bag that I made.Had a 3 hour breakfast catching up - what fun.Caught up with my son who has arrived in Canada and was about to go skiing - he was not expecting it to be so cold so will have to buy some warmer clothes!!! - he is a shorts and slops guy. Today I gave a gift to myself and gave thanks for my marriage.Watching the Royal wedding made me realise how we all want the happy ever after. It was so wonderful watching the happy Prince and his bride and all the people in London wishing them well. I wish William and Kate lots of love and laughter in their journey together.

Did not manage to blog but did continue with gifting.Sunday - woke early and went to the beach to watch the sunrise and give thanks for my life. I had a bunch of marshmallow easter eggs which I gave to folk who were arriving at work at the 2 hotels.On the beach a Dad arrived with his 3 daughters and a dog. Having a wonderful holiday and plenty of giving - some change for a homeless lady. A friend has reitred and came for a visit landed up staying for dinner. Great to catch up with her and gave her a part time job.Visited my friend Gillian who has had a huge back op and still in pain so may she recover quiclkly.She is a very generous person and has very liitle cash- I gave her 29 gifts and challenged her to do it without spending any money and accepted her challenge back for me to do the same so…See More

- i was inspired by Cami Walker and my colleague and friend Pat has cancer so I felt I wanted to travel the journey with her and hope she will do this with me.She has made an effort but is not fully committed but is receiving back already.
