Sharon, I've been looking at the teddy bear group. Amazing work. I love the quilts and it looks as though you're all having fun making them.

Hi, Sharon. After being away for such a long time, I've missed so much and am spending time getting to know what's going on. It was great to see that you're still here - evidence that there truly is something in this challenge that draws people together. Live a Life that matters is a powerful piece of writing. What a treat to read that tonight. May your days be blessed with love and happiness.

Hi, Sharon. I just love your playlist. I am sitting here with my headphones on singin' along with Josh Turner on "Long Black Train". Read on your profile that you live in Woodstock, GA. I lived in Cumming for about 10 years. Miss the changing of the trees...we don't really get that here in Central Flordia.

"No person was ever honored for what he received. Honor has been the reward for what he gave." Calvin Coolidge

"The competing views of success in our world often create an interesting tension. Society tends to define success in terms of accomplishments and awards, material possessions, and profit margins. In the football business, winning is the only thing that matters.
God’s Word, however, presents a different definition of success; one centered on a relationship with Jesus Christ and a love for God that allows us to love and serve others. God gives each one of us unique gifts, abilities and passions. How well we use those qualities to have an impact on the world around us determines how “successful” we really are….
God’s definition of success is really one of significance, the significant difference our lives can make in the lives of others. This significance doesn’t show up in win-loss records, long resumes, or the trophies gathering dust on our mantels. It’s found in the hearts and lives of those we’ve come across who are in some way better because of the way we lived."

I just love this!

Live A Life That Matters:

Ready or not, some day it will all come to an end.

There will be no more sunrises, no minutes, hours or days.

All the things you collected, whether treasured or forgotten, will pass to someone else.
Your wealth, fame and temporal power will shrivel to irrelevance.

It will not matter what you owned or what you were owed.

Your grudges, resentments, frustrations, and jealousies will finally disappear.

So, too, your hopes, ambitions, plans, and to-do lists will exp

I agree with so much of what you said... we do become more conscious of the little ways that we give. The giving challenge puts giving as a priority in our lives... that is the biggest difference for me. We may serve everyday in our jobs and think...
