About me:
i am married with 3 sons and a daughter. i teach crochet to 3rd graders at a nearby primary school as a volunteer. we have chickens which we raise for the eggs only. i am a vegetarian. we grow herbs, veges and berries for the family and neighbors. this year i grew 2 lovely pumpkins - but still need to learn more about the squash - so i can harvest more. i' ve always wanted to grow enough for the neighborhood children to each choose one. i crochet/knit for several charities. i love the fall for the beautiful colors.

days 9 & 10

HELLO EVERYONE!,

I WAS THRILLED TO WAKE UP TO A BEAUTIFUL FALL DAY - THE COLORS WERE AMAZING! THROUGHOUT MY DAY I WAS GIVEN SEVERAL CHANCES TO GIVE. MY FIRST GIFT WAS TO MAKE-A-WISH - WHICH I HAVE NEVER GIVEN TO THIS CHARITY BEFORE - THE STORIES TOUCH YOUR HEART AND SOUL. THEN WHEN I STOPPED TO BUY COFFEE I PLACED THE CHANGE IN THE TIP CUP. LATER THAT DAY MY MOTHER-IN-LAW WAS HAVING A RATHER STRESSFUL DAY - SO INSTEAD OF RUSHING HER OR FINDING SOMETHING I HAD TO DO - I GAVE HER ALL THE TIME SHE… Continue

day 3 and 4

Hi Everyone,

i now say a prayer every morning asking for direction in regarding to - my gift. i realized that i need to spend alot more attention to my marriage. so my husband and i sent quality time together. i really didn't realize how much damage my past has done. so we had a very relaxing day and then we cooked dinner together.

i also worked to finish a sweater for a charity… Continue

Help Us Grow: Please help spread the word. We're striving to reach our goal of 29,000 committed givers, and you can help: Send this Invitation to friends, write about the challenge and include a badge or our video on your website, blog, facebook, or myspace page.

The book 29 Gifts: How a Month of Giving Can Change Your Life - authored by 29 Gifts founder Cami Walker is now in stores. You can also buy through Amazon.

Support our Cause of the Month
In November, we're sponsoring a cause that has been started by fellow giver, Lubabat. We are so deeply touched and impressed by Lubabat's strength of character & spirit. Lubabat was diagnosed with MS in the mid 90s and then in August of 09, she was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. Her reaction has been so inspirational - she is thriving through giving. She is hosting a Christmas Give and her theme is "going small to make a big impact" We have named her our November Cause of the Month and would be grateful for your support!

Happy giving!

P.S. Don't miss our handy 29-Day Giving Calendar or our cute Gift Note to accompany your gifts.
