We are huge fans of recycling (clothing, toys, etc.) to friends we know that have children that could benefit; then Goodwill. This time of year I have a yard sale to help supplement Christmas for my kids.... but I now have a house full of STUFF ev...

I know this defeats the intent, but I would love to have a partner in Clutter Busters. You know, someonne who would come to my house and say, Susan, let's do a bedroom closet today, or the basement or a dining room drawer..........wouldn't that be...

However, people that I know who are clean freaks are so freaked out by that show but, since I do keep a lot of crap I realize just how easy it is to go down that road. I'd like to be somewhere in the middle!

That program is fascinating and scary all rolled into one! That's why I try to keep it down to the basics =o)

Thank you, Astraa, for the welcome message. I love the cartoon drawing of the lady in her armchair with her cat and her hot drink. I tried to thank you earlier, but I had a problem with the computer I was on last week. -sparkie

Profile Information

Why I'm choosing to give:
I complain a lot about the greed of people who either don't share or only do so with certain people or their pets while others have to starve and do without in other ways. I also have so many possessions in my room that it's always a mess and I'm spending almost $70 a month to store a bunch of stuff I haven't seen for 2 years.
What I'd most like to receive:
Fewer things to "junk up" my bedroom floor and lots of poor people with smiles on their faces because I've given them something I wanted or needed.
How did you hear about the 29-Day Giving Challenge?
It was a recommended group I found after signing on to Ning.
Do you agree to read and follow the 29Gifts Code of Conduct once you join our site?

Code of Conduct-Nope, I'm Not Looking for Anyone!

I have read the Code of Conduct and don't want to give the moderator for the single 29 Day givers the wrong impression. I invited her to be my friend on this network and let her know in the personal message that I'm looking around for groups and networks for singles. I'm not looking for a partner, lover, or a husband and even if I were, I'd be happy to comply and use other Ning networks set up for that purpose.

I'm Catholic and believe that some people are called to get married and have childre… Continue

Hey! I see you joined Quote of the day! Great to meet you. About 45 years ago, I lived in Indianapolis, Indiana, off the White river, by Broadripple Park! I have great memories from K

thru 2nd grade there, ice skating was the bomb, and snow drifts that covered the front door was the coolest when you were 7!
