I am a 39 year old married lady with four beautiful boys I love looking after my family and watching them growing into unique little individuals.I live in northern ireland not the sunniest place in the world but we like it.Ihave been married to Al for twenty years this october and am going to be 40 in november heres to life beginning at 40!

Catching up.

Giving myself a little peace.

time to chat

I feel awful I havent been on the site for ages but starting today here goes another 29 days.Today I invited two friends over for a cuppa and a chat it was great to be in their company even though we usually see eachother at the school gates it was nice to actually make the time to sit down and catch up.It was my 40th birthday yesturday and the girls put a big banner up down at the school gates I was a celebrity for a day and quite exausted by the end of it all.I,m looking forward to paying that… Continue

Day twenty five I think

Well the house is all quiet all my men are at school and work.I am giving Josephs teacher some books and old cardboard boxes today.Igave my friend a call this morning life is throwing her some really rough cards at the moment I wish I could give her her health back all I can do is give her my support and friendship that feels pretty small.If anyone is reading this please say a prayer for Debbie and her family thankyoux

Has anyone else lost count?

Well I know my boys have been back at school for nine days and my hubby has been off work for eight,the summer holidays wet as they where are a distant memory but cant quite recall when I started the 29 day giving challenge.I suppose it doesnt matter as I,m not planning on giving up after 29 days anyway.I gave my beautiful friend a pair of socks and a bunch of grapes and a turkish delight on Tuesday as she was having her first bout of chemo she phoned yesturday to thank me and she sounds really… Continue
