Day 13: Another prayer.
It was bit a tough day for me. I learned that one of my late boyfriend's co-workers was laid off from his law firm. How hard it must be for him... thinking of the hard study to become a lawyer and very long work hours he spent in practice. I actually cried a little not bing able to tell anything to comfort him (I don't know him directly... and I heard the news from our mutual friends) , but I prayed for him that he could regain his strength to get through this difficult time, and to find…

Day 12: Dinner
I was bit tired from the previous day trip, I stayed home most of Sunday. I didn't have much opportunity to practice giving, I finally prepared dinner for my family. Noting really special...but all home made, made from a scratch... hoping the food provide enough energy to go through the comming week.

Day 11: Aquarium

Not being able to keep our little nephew and niece's energy within our house, we went to an aquarium last Saturday. It was bit far, but we enjoyed the whole trip including 1.5hours train ride. Kids loved seeing many sea
animals and fishes, and typically enjoyed the opportunity to touch dolfins. Seeing fishes was very soothing and relaxing for me too. We then had a dinner at China town, which was the first time experence for…

Now we are at Monday! Woot! So, yesterday was pretty cool. I found out that one of the girls at work was going to have a birthday Firday. I bought her a few presents consisting of some candy, a funny card, and a cool pen. I don't really know what she likes and I haven't been able to give it to her yet. I'm pretty sure she'll enjoy it though. I get to give it to her Wednesday.

Starting Over....Again
Err...It's been almost a year since I was here...and even then, it was to apologize for being gone so long. I don't know why I haven't been here. I love the cause and I love the people I've met. I suppose I just got busy with life. I assure you all that I've spent the last year trying to be a good person and give gifts whenever I can...sometimes I've succeeded, sometimes I've failed.
A few minutes ago, I got a message saying that Sharon has left a comment on my wall. She was…

What a great experience I am having. Of course my daily goal is to be in the present, but being watchful of where I can gift really helps my perspective. I've been on a cruise and finished my first 29 days and began my second. Some days I just practiced patience with everyone I met. That gifted both the others on the ship and myself. I also took a lot of group shots holding the camera for many other people so they could be in the picture. I won a massage from the spa. I'm getting to be…

I always think of my parents on Memorial Day. Not because they died in World War II (I am not that old) but because they lived to tell about their experiences and carried emotional wounds to their respective
graves.
Dad was not yet 18 years old when he joined the Navy. He was intent upon a career, following his dad and older brother. Grandad was a distinguished naval Commander. He was soon assigned to the North
Atlantic supply ship fleet that moved food and…
